In this educational workshop you will learn about local medicinal mushrooms from expert Grant Lauzon, with a focus on the Chaga mushroom. More information about Greenfoot can be found on their website at www.greenfoot.ca.

Topics of discussion will include the health benefits of chaga and other mushrooms in your back yard, as well as how Chaga is grown, harvested and farmed. Finally the workshop will allow participants learn first hand how to prepare Chaga and include it in your wellness routine and will comclude with a Chaga tasting using different methods of preparation.
